Stay was really fantastic. These villas are located off the beaten path between Tulum and Akumal with lots of trees and greenery around to really give you a jungle feel. If you are looking for something away from the crowds and big cities- this is the place for you. While you can get taxis to the villa from Tulum (~15-20 minutes) or Playa del Carmen, it is slightly more challenging to get taxis from the villa out into the cities. Having said that Alexa and the team at the villa really helped me by ordering taxis for me. Would suggest that if you stay here, to have your own car. The villa was fantastic. Your own functioning kitchen (with plates, cutlery, toaster, pots/ pans, microwave, blender, coffee machine, stove, fridge) and dining area. In fact, basic ingredients like oil, vinegar, sugar, pepper and some coffee was provided). Patio with hammock and lazy chair (you must make sure you bring lots of insect repellent). Swimming pool is lovely too (they provide swimming towels). The team at the villa are also very helpful and kind. Alexa gave me so much instant help, including organising taxis, advising how best to get to the villa, where to eat, and more importantly recommendation on beaches (xcacel was a little paradise located only 5 minutes from villa with its own cenote). Ester, Daniel and Jean Luc also helped to make is feel at home!
